Children and family programs are wide-ranging:
- In-home and community-based family counseling that is centered on the needs of the child and family including Parent Child Interactive Therapy.

School-based services ranging from drop-out prevention to crisis intervention, and support services to promote keeping families together.

Wraparound Tulsa – a statewide and national program -- targets the most complex emotional difficulties of families and children in crisis and provides care teams to identify and enhance existing family strengths.

Transition Services – support, guidance and advocacy for young people ages 17-24 who are aging out of state custody and foster care.

CALM Center – a safe caring place where youth ages 10-17 who are out of control due to a behavioral health crisis can come, calm down, learn new skills and return to home and school within a few days with a plan for change.
Our focus is on the entire family, emphasizing strengths, identifying problems and barriers – while sensitive to culture and other people involved in the child’s life.
Physicians’ oversight and medication management are available to children. Medications can and do make a significant difference, together with counseling/treatment, in relieving symptoms and suffering.
ACT’s children’s specialists partner with other area children’s behavioral health experts bringing services to children and adolescents who are struggling in school and other areas of their lives.
